This is a MUST-HAVE training for law enforcement and criminal justice agencies. Topics covered are: Definition and Scope of Missing Adult Problem; The Family Perspective and Victim Impact, Application of Federal, State and Local Supporting Resources, DNA Methodologies, Developing a Model Policy and a Comprehensive Multi-Jurisdictional Community Assessment Plan, Leveraging Media Resources, Legal Considerations, and Practical Case Development. NOTE: This training is designed for investigators, detectives, college campus police officers, police academy instructors, dispatchers, and policy makers. PREREQUISITES: Law Enforcement, Jails, Court Services, Communications PRIORITY: Class size: 50 IN-SER CREDIT: 16 hours CDE / 4 hours legal / 0 Cultural Diversity TUITION: $ 295 regardless of Academy affiliation.
