I cannot find a link, which is frustrating... but it was just on my local Fox 4 News. A 20 year old in Farmersville was discovered missing this morning by her family. They went to her home and her back door was open. They found her 6 month old infant on the bed and there was no sign of a struggle nor anything missing. They say this is not like the girl at all and will be getting the Collin County investigators involved tomorrow. Will post more to this if I can find a link.

Found a link finally:

(you have to click on the word news on the left hand side then scroll down - I think it was the 2nd story).

(FARMERSVILLE, March 19) - A Collin County woman is missing and her baby was found home alone. Relatives found the back door open at Rachel Tollison's home in Farmersville, east of McKinney near Lavon Lake. Her 6-month-old daughter was lying in the middle of Tollison's bed unharmed. Police say nothing was stolen from the house. It appears this was an abduction. The baby is with her grandparents. If you have any information that could help police, call Farmersville Police Department at 972.782.6141.

Raven,

I edited the subject line to include Rachel's name. Please let us know about any updates on her. I may call Tim Miller today and ask him if they've notified him.

I was wondering that too - about Tim Miller and if he had been notified. The news story made it sound very ominous. Her dad was interviewed and he was a complete mess. If you hear anything, please keep me posted as well. I'm at work today so will not be able to hear news on it... but if by chance I do, I will post it to this thread.

This is another new story posted on the missing woman. Her family suspects foul play.

I passed the search area on my way home today. They have many, many ATV out and about from both Farmersville and Princeton. The search to the east is about 5 miles from my home. I hope for good news regarding this young lady.

I'm very sorry to hear about Rachelle. I was talking to the Center for Missing Adults yesterday and I was going to pass her case information on to them, but it's not necessary any more.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Rachelle's family.

Why is it some stories make the big news and others don't!? This is the first time i've heard or seen anything about Rachelle. My prayers are with her and her family.

I think about Rachelle every day and of her little baby left alone to grow up without ever knowing what a wonderful mother she had. I do not understand how these monsters can do this and are able to live with themselves. Rachelle was just a baby herself. I too am a single mom and I am in my early twenties, I am terrified of something happening to me or my 2 yearold. I commend you Mr. Cooke for trying to make a difference and keep yound people and others safe. I wish I knew of something here in Dallas like that. Rachel and your family are always in my prayers.

It has been 2 years now...and I just found this message board online.  I was Rachelle's next door neighbor, and friend since the first grade.  We were a small class, so all of us were pretty close...even to Moises, the man who admitted killing her.  We are all still healing from this tragedy..but I just wanted to thank you all for caring.

By the way, Court TV did a story on Rachelle's murder on Forensic Files. Mendoza is on death row now begging for pen pals to help fight for his life. Give me a break!
