I really do wish that he would have gotten a harder charge for what he did. I knew Jennifer Cave. I worked with her and one time drove to Austin to a party with her. She did talk about Colton as "her best friend". I'm not sure what had went wrong. But no matter what a best friend does, no one in there right mind would do that to a friend. I know the "drugs" plays a BIG factor in everything, but still there are NO EXCUSES!!! This is a sad sad story. From the 1st time i heard this on the news, right after it happened. My stomach sunk!! I almost and literally was SOO close to going to hang out with Colton the night we were in Austin. Something in my gut told me not to and i left the party with my friends. Then i find out almost 1 year later all of this!!! Thank god i followed my gut. Who knows what could have gone on @ his apt. after we had all been drinking!!! I just say prayers for Jennifer's Family!!!! Just thought i would post my comments along with everyone else. Its just sooo sad!!!
My heartfelt prayers go out to Jennifer's family so much. What a tragedy during the prime of her life. After reading the book, "Descent into Hell" I was sickened about what happened. Laura Hall has the DIRTIEST MOUTH and the most HORRIBLE attitude of any human being and should be put away for life. She is psycho. She was an accesory to the murder and should be allowed to go free. Also Colton deserves what he got but I think life without parole would have been MUCH better. His parents babied him and he thought he was GOODY TWO SHOES. He got bit in the but. God BLess you and be you through your difficult times.
